JOOSH Cocoa Fruit Shots

Following the success of KOKOJOO Original, KOKOJOO Energize and KOKOJOO Concentrate (now CONCENCAO), Dayog Kabore launched KOKOJOO Shots in 2021: the world’s first cocoa fruit shot, made using cocoa fruit juice and cacao bean shells. The development of this cocoa fruit shot was finalized following the approval of cocoa fruit juice as a novel food in the EU under Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/206 of 14 February 2020.

After a break to recharge energy – due to hostility, sabotage, and discrimination faced by our founder in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland – KOKOJOO Shots was reactivated and renamed JOOSH.

JOOSH still consists of only six ingredients: cocoa juice, cocoa bean shell infusion, lemongrass concentrate, ginger concentrate, and two other natural flavours.

JOOSH is the world’s first cocoa fruit shot made from cocoa juice and cocoa bean shells obtained by upcycling the cocoa fruit. It is full of natural polyphenols, covers the daily vitamin C need and contains other antioxidants. It contains caffeine and theobromine, both of which are extracted from cocoa bean shells to provide long-lasting vitality and a feeling of wellbeing.
