The story of the Cocoa Fruit Shot JOOSH started way back in 2021.
Following the success of the Brand KOKOJOO (KOKOJOO Original, KOKOJOO Energize, KOKOJOO Limkoko and KOKOJOO Cobe Copu) and CONCENCAO (formerly known as KOKOJOO Concentrate), Dayog Kabore launched ‚KOKOJOO Shot‘ in 2021: the world’s first cocoa fruit shot, made using cocoa fruit juice and cacao bean shells. The development of this cocoa fruit shot was finalized following the approval of cocoa fruit juice as a novel food in the EU under Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/206 of 14 February 2020.
After a break to recharge energy – due to hostility, sabotage, and discrimination faced by our founder in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland – ‚KOKOJOO Shot‘ was reactivated and re-branded JOOSH.
Rather than simply bottling cocoa fruit juice and marketing it as a ‚SHOT‘, JOOSH Cocoa Fruit Shots stand out by combining cocoa bean husks with cocoa fruit juice. The result is a flavour that is both authentic and full of nutrients from the cocoa fruit. For you. All day long.
